Knowing the Ropes

This course addresses requirements for technician level, with the exception of Highline Rope Systems, and will provide the student with the ability to conduct rescue operations in most high-angle situations.

Skills taught include:

  • Advanced Anchor Systems
  • Advanced Haul Systems
  • Raising & Lowering Systems For The High-Angle Environment
  • Knot Passing
  • High Directional Anchors
  • "Pick-Off" Rescues
  • Litter Rigging & Tending In The High-Angle Environment
