Intended for high-load applications that normally call for a lifeline, but also require a rope that floats, our New England River Rescue Lifeline is compatible with Prusik hitches, Gibbs ascenders, pulleys, and other rescue hardware.
Its core is polyolefin covered with a tough, abrasion resistant nylon sheath. Available by the foot or 600-ft. spool. Throwlines: A Safe Choice A throwline bag is the safest way to reach a subject in fast-moving or still water. It provides a downstream safety backup when rescuers must enter the water. Throwbags should be kept in patrol cars, ambulances, and other emergency response vehicles.
