Ladderline can be spliced to make a strong, neat connection to the anchor point on the ladder, but it can be an involved process.
The brass Halyard Clamp is quick and easy to install, requiring only a mallet to fold the prongs over on the doubled rope. Our testing on 1/2-inch Ladderline indicates the clamp slips at 800 lbs. While not as strong as a knot or well made splice, it is sufficiently strong for most customer’s requirements.
